This notice covers the Second Read newsletter only. It explains what the signup asks for, why we use it, and how to stop or request removal.
What the signup collects
The hosted signup form asks for your email address. The static Second Read website does not collect or store form submissions; the signup is handled by MailerLite.
Why we use it
By submitting the form, you consent to receive occasional book news, release updates, and notes from Ben Hoyle. MailerLite hosts the form, manages the subscriber list and confirmation, and sends the emails for Second Read.
MailerLite sends a confirmation message after signup. Your subscription is completed when you confirm your email address. See MailerLite’s privacy policy for information about its handling of data on its service.
Unsubscribe or request removal
Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link to stop future emails. To ask us to remove your address from the active subscriber list, or to ask a privacy question, email hello@secondreadbooks.com or contact Second Read Books on Facebook. We will handle removal through MailerLite.
Your address is kept on the active newsletter list while you remain subscribed.
